      After a rocky beginning, Will Darling and Kim Secretan have established a stable relationship and now work together at Will's antiquarian book store. As they begin to get comfortable, Kim is notified that his brother, Lord Chingford, is suspected of committing a murder at his elite men's club. While Will and Kim work to clear Chingford, they must withstand the wrath and prejudice of Kim's intolerant family. Their investigation revives the animosity of the terrorist group Zodiac, and Will and Kim must rely on each other to survive. Readers will enjoy seeing the couple solidifying their mutual trust and love, in spite of Kim's proclivity for keeping secrets and the great class difference between the two. Additionally, fans of secondary characters Maisie and Phoebe will be happy to see them once again participating in the intrigue. VERDICT Charles (The Gentle Art of Fortune Hunting) fills the final installment in her "Will Darling Adventures" trilogy with more daring exploits, in addition to the characteristic wit, sexiness, humor, and heart. Highly recommended, but readers should start with the first in this compelling series, Slippery Creatures.--Eve Stano, Ball State Univ., Muncie, IN
