In this audio version of Thor’s latest thriller in the Scot Harvath series, the United States is threatened by a massive terrorist attack that’s been in the works since the 1940s. And this time, covert operative Harvath will need some help—from other operatives in the CIA and members of a private paramilitary organization called the Carlton Group—if he’s going to save the day. Despite its share of globe-spanning action, the plot of this abridged version is a bit superficial; it lacks the depth and complexity likely present in the unabridged production. Despite these gaps, Armand Schultz keeps listeners engaged with his intense, blunt narration. With an assertive tone and powerful voice, Schultz proves the perfect reader for this story of adventure and heroism.
